About Me
Emily has happily and enthusiastically helped hundreds of people in the Greater Rochester area successfully buy and sell their homes.
She is an Associate Broker at RE/MAX Realty Group, which is the most prestigious, highest-producing office in the state, having in place the most innovative marketing tools and technology available today, as well as a first-class support staff.
Her extraordinary level of devoted service wins recognition awards every single year, as well as constant referrals from happy clients.
An astute listener, relentless troubleshooter, expert negotiator and tireless advocate, Emily provides a pleasant experience at a stressful time in her clients’ lives, earning their trust and confidence.
“My mission is to educate each client thoroughly about the buying or selling process. This removes any fear and uncertainty. It also allows us to have lots of fun along the way!”
Emily’s clients know her to be professional, smart, attentive-to-detail, intuitive and business-like but also full of laughs. She believes in personal, one-on-one service, as opposed to the “team” method, where you are handed off to a staff member, often an inexperienced or part-time one.
For buyers, Emily schedules a preliminary get-acquainted meeting at her office before ever making an appointment to see a house. For sellers, after viewing their home, she presents a custom-prepared Market Analysis and recommends strategy.
Emily loves the Rochester area, having relocated here from the New York City area as a newlywed. She shows newcomers where to shop, dine, work out, hike, boat, swim, learn, worship, take part in sports (golf, equestrian, soccer, baseball, hockey), and enjoy the arts (theatre, philharmonic, museums, galleries).
Emily and her husband Chris have two grown children they raised in the suburb of Penfield. Daughter Andrea is a mechanical engineer (Duke U) and lives in New Orleans; she is a dedicated triathlete, fosters rescued dogs, and rides horses. Son Christopher (Penn, Wharton, MIT) and his bride Nishi are investment bankers in Hong Kong; they use every spare moment to travel throughout Asia exploring, discovering, sightseeing.
Favorite pastimes for Emily (other than visiting her far-flung children!) are baking (especially her famous Italian cookies), cooking (she loves spontaneous guests), gardening (including a koi pond), singing in choirs at St. Joseph’s Church, attending meetings at the Penfield Gardeners Club, reading novels and self-help books, decorating, shopping (for anything!), and, most recently, finally trying her hand at golf (at the urging of the Ladies’ 9-Hole league) at Penfield Country Club, where her husband holds a champion title!
Emily believes strongly in contributing to one’s community. Every Friday night you’ll find her working at Shepherd Home in Penfield, a comfort-care residence for the terminally ill. She is one of 50 volunteers there who have been trained to make a person’s final weeks pain-free and peaceful, and to lend support to grieving family.
A percentage of every commission earned is donated to the Children’s Miracle Network, 100% of which is directed to the Golisano Strong Children’s Hospital here in Rochester.
Call Emily to help you accomplish your home-buying or home-selling goals. She’d love to become your trusted real estate advisor!
